Exam Glove Manufacturing Process
Rubber Plantation
Rubber Trees Line in Rubber Plantation
Making latex exam gloves start with procuring raw material from rubber trees which are grown mainly in the Asian Equatorial region. These trees produce a milky sap which is the primary material used for creating rubber. This latex sap will later be combined with other chemicals from a liquid solution that will be hardened into exam gloves.
Most medical glove factories are located in the Southeast Asia region because of its proximity to the latex rubber trees and cheap labor. Such countries include Malaysia, Indonedia, Philippines, and China. Rubber plantations have neat rows of rubber trees as pictured where the latex sap will be harvested by workers.
