ASTM D5250
ASTM D5250 - Standard specification for Poly-vinyl chloride (PVC) gloves for medical application
This specifies dimensions and tolerances and physical requirements for vinyl synthetic exam gloves. The FDA created a separate requirement from latex gloves because vinyl gloves do not stretch as far as latex gloves. ASTM D5250 states that vinyl exam gloves should have an AQL of 2.5, minimum tensile strength of 11 MPa (1595 psi), and minimum elongation of 300%.
