ASTM D3578 - Standard specification for rubber examination gloves

This specifies dimensions and tolerances and physical requirements for latex exam gloves. ASTM D 3578 states how well the exam glove can stretch by measuring tensile strength and elongation. The longer a medical glove can stretch the better it is. ASTM D3578 state that latex exam gloves should be AQL 2.5, minimum tensile strength of 18 MPa (2616 psi), and minimum elongation at 700%.
